Programs of Study

The Concordia Experience engages students in a comprehensive, interdisciplinary curriculum combined with real-world experiential learning opportunities, encompassing dynamic programs— Biology, Business, Education, English, Health Studies, Liberal Studies, Nursing, Social Sciences, and Social Work. The undergraduate Concordia Experience leads to countless career paths—to real living, not just making a living. The college also offers a Master's degree program in Elementary Special Education.

Students and Faculty

The students come from 27 states and more than 35 countries worldwide. A dedicated and talented faculty--more than 75% of whom hold the highest degrees in their respective field of study--comprise a student-to-professor ratio of 13 to 1.

Financial Aid

Awards, merit scholarships and grants, need-based financial aid and more make Concordia a valuable and affordable investment. 95% of our students receive some form of financial aid.

Campus Life

Two-thirds of the students live on campus, forming an active, close-knit community involved in all aspects of college life—student organizations, athletics, community outreach, and performance ensembles. From daily chapel to servant events, spiritual life activities invite students to put faith into practice.

Athletics

The Concordia Clippers are members of NCAA Division II and compete in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference in men’s baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, and tennis; women’s basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball.

A smart, fun, and safe place to attend college, the lush, beautiful campus is set in the quaint, affluent village of Bronxville, New York, a little less than 30 minutes from New York City.

Concordia College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia PA 19104, 215. 662.5606. The Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation.

The Nursing program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), part of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), 1 Dupont Circle NW Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036.

The Social Work program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Council on Social Work Education, 1600 Duke Street, Alexandria VA 22314, 703.683.8080, a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation.

The Education program is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), 201 Massachusetts Ave N.W., Suite 500, Washington DC 20036, 202.466.7496.

The College is registered by the New York State Education Department and the International Center for English as a Second language is a member of the American Association of Intensive English Programs.
