Winslow is a village in Dodge County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 104 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Winslow is located at coor dms|41|36|30|N|96|30|14|W|city (41.608447, -96.503872)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 104 people, 41 households, and 30 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,744.9 people per square mile (669.2/km²). There were 45 housing units at an average density of 755.0/sq mi (289.6/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.04% White and 0.96% Native American. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.85% of the population.

There were 41 households out of which 31.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.0% were married couples living together, 7.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.8% were non-families. 22.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.54 and the average family size was 2.97.

In the village the population was spread out with 23.1% under the age of 18, 14.4% from 18 to 24, 30.8% from 25 to 44, 24.0% from 45 to 64, and 7.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 89.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 105.1 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $25,000, and the median income for a family was $50,625. Males had a median income of $25,000 versus $20,000 for females. The per capita income for the village was $14,766. There were no families and 5.0% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 13.3% of those over 64.
