Levonordefrin (Nordefrin, Neo-Cobefrin), also known as α-methylnorepinephrine (α-Me-NE), is a sympathomimetic amine used as a topical nasal decongestant and vasoconstrictor in dentistry.[1] It is also a metabolite of the antihypertensive drug methyldopa, and plays a crucial role in its pharmacology and therapeutic benefits.
